We are so excited to begin the 2007-2008 school year!

The Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month programs have been honoring students since 1993. We
are delighted to be sponsored by such caring and generous businesses.

The Student of the Month programs were born of Sally Myers' passion for education. Sally is partner and
Marketing Director of BMW Management, Inc., which is an independent franchise of Sizzler Restaurants.
Sally recognized the need for a venue honoring the outstanding students in Lake Elsinore, Murrieta,
Perris/Menifee, and Temecula and has devoted many hours of her time to that end.

The four programs currently honor 300 students a year from the 15 high schools in Lake Elsinore,
Murrieta, Perris/Menifee, and Temecula. Two students, a boy and a girl, are recognized at the breakfast
or luncheon each month. The program has over 240 local business and organization sponsors, plus it is
supported by local, state, and federal elected officials. Sally has asked key leaders who have been friends
of the program over the past 15 years to take a major part in the administration of the respected programs.
The Lake Elsinore program is chaired by Sally and co-chaired by Donna Romo at Elsinore High School. The
Perris/Menifee Program is chaired by Sally and co-chaired by Sarah Ricco and Linda Quattlebaum with the
Perris Union High School District. The Murrieta Program is chaired by Margaret Jones of A-1Tuscany Travel.
And the Temecula Program is chaired by Roxanne Petteway of the Coalition to Improve Education (CIE),
co-chaired by Jennifer Malek of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce,Jerri Selway, and Alisa Garrett,
both of Pacific West Bank. Sally remains active as the Founder/Advisor for all four programs.
